How long does the subscription run?
Our standard subscription run for 6, 12 or 24 months, but you can take pieces for shorter or longer periods depending on your needs. More details are available on our Bespoke page.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can subscribe to as little as a single piece.
Who installs the art?
We take great pride in all our work from art to installation, so to ensure uniformity, we like to do the installations ourselves.
How do you hang the art?
We have a large range of fixings and hooks for all types of wall.
Clients can also opt for The C-rail system (sold separately), which is quick and easy to install and makes rotation very swift.
How do I pay?
For subscription clients, payment for 6 months is due in advance of the installation/rotation date by either BACs or cheque. For Bespoke projects, we require a Purchase Order and 50% upfront.
How come the office art service so reasonably priced?
We have low overheads, so can keep elements of our costs down. But more than this, we do not see why art should be excessively priced. Art is still being sold as it has been for centuries, but with some innovative thinking, we believe that at the start of the 21st century, Works in Print has come up with a way to offer high quality art, at very affordable prices.
Is the cost of the art tax deductible?
In short, yes.
If you ‘subscribe’ to the art being changed regularly, then the art is tax-deductible as you are improving the ambience and look/feel of your office.
If you commission us, then the art is tax deductible, but because it’s a capital expense, but this take longer to re-coup.
This does depend on your corporation’s tax situation, so each client is different.
How will I choose my next pieces?
We will send you an email a couple of weeks before your term is due to end with some similar and alternative options. You might even want to extend your collection and take on more pieces (incidentally, this is something you can do at any point in the year).
I’m worried about the Health and Safety aspect of hanging artwork.
Our installers are all fully trained, insured and compliant with the UK H&S Laws (2006). All jobs are risk-assessed.
Will my walls be damaged?
We offer a wall repair service where we remove the hanging equipment and can make the wall good. It is possible to use an innovative hanging system to ensure absolutely no damage to the walls, but this can only be applied in certain places with certain pieces. Email us to get a quote/more details.
I love the art in my office; how do I get something personalised for my home?
Even if your company is not a client, we will happily entertain suggestions to get our art into your home. Just contact us.
Who are your artists?
We have a wide range of artists, ranging from more established to those more up and coming. If you would like to know more about the artist of a specific piece, just send us the link and we’ll tell you all about them!
